Extra Firm Plain Tofu has a neutral flavour so is ideal to marinate in spices or sauces. The firm texture makes it ideal for quick frying to add texture to dishes. Once opened, keep refrigerated in liquid and use within 48 hours.
Chef says
Quickly dry between kitchen paper then coat on cornflour and tempura batter, then serve with sweet chilli sauce. Blend with kala namak black salt for a great tofu scramble.
